Africa 4.0 Award Winners 2025

During the NextGen Manufacturing Summit Africa (30 September – 1 October 2025, UM6P Campus, Benguerir, Morocco 🇲🇦), AISMA and UNIDO proudly presented the Africa 4.0 Awards 2025, celebrating outstanding achievements and leadership in smart and sustainable manufacturing.

The Africa 4.0 Awards recognized three exceptional winners whose work reflects innovation, excellence, and a strong commitment to Africa’s digital and industrial transformation:

Young Researchers: Mpho Kotlolo (South Africa)

Leadership and Digital Transformation: Ibrahima Fall (Senegal)

Technological Innovation: Jean Yves Kouadio (Côte d’Ivoire)

Co-organized by AISMA-UNIDO, UM6P, Technix, Hannover Messe, and Deutsche Messe AG, the Summit brought together experts, policymakers, and innovators from across Africa and beyond to explore strategies, technologies, and partnerships shaping the continent’s industrial future.

Launched in September, the call for applications aimed to identify and promote African talents driving the modernization of the continent’s industries. Through the Africa 4.0 Awards, AISMA and its partners reaffirm their commitment to celebrating visionary leaders and innovators who are shaping the future of Industry 4.0 in Africa and inspiring the next generation of industrial pioneers.
